Welcome to The Southern Cross

The Southern Cross is the award-winning, flagship publication of the Archdiocese of Adelaide, produced monthly by the Catholic Communications office.

Approximately 50,000 copies of the newspaper are distributed each month and since 2010 the paper has also been available in a new, easy-to-read electronic format.

The paper contains news, features, opinion, obituaries, school and parish stories and Mass times.

The 143-year-old Southern Cross has been published in various forms but was revamped 10 years ago as a free newspaper distributed to all Catholic school families as well as to parishes throughout the State.
