Winter Concert

A free concert of choral motets sung by the Cathedral Choir with members of Choir of the Holy Cross and Flinders University Chamber Ensemble, featuring works by Arnesen, Bruckner, Coleman, Gjeilo, Hagenberg, Haydn, Jenkins, Mealor, Narverud and Vivaldi. Codirected by Timothy Davey and Arthur Siow. Two events: Friday July 12, 7pm, in Cathedral of St Francis Xavier, Wakefield Street, Adelaide and Sunday July 14, 12.30pm, at Holy Cross Church, Goodwood. No bookings required. Location: Mary MacKillop Precinct, 4 High Street, Kensington
August 8 – Feast of St Mary MacKillop, 115th anniversary of Mary’s death. 10am Mass in St Joseph’s Chapel, 4 High Street, Kensington. Celebrant: Archbishop Patrick O’Regan. Followed by refreshments in Bethany Centre, 4 High Street, Kensington. No registration and no cost. Come and celebrate Mary’s special day. Visit the Mary MacKillop Museum on the same premises.
