The Office for Worship promotes liturgy and provides formation, education and liturgical assistance in the Adelaide Archdiocese.

Our aims include:

  • to provide liturgical assistance to the Chief Liturgist of the Diocese, the Archbishop;
  • to promote good liturgical practice, and
  • to provide formation and education for all the Catholic faithful of the Diocese.

We can provide workshops and courses for parish teams and those who assist in liturgy preparations, as well as templates for services such as Confirmations and Funerals.

We also oversee the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation in Adults) program within the Archdiocese, as well as chairing the Diocesan Liturgical Commission (DLC).

The Office for Worship moved to the Catholic Diocesan Centre in the Adelaide CBD in mid 2018, and in 2019 launched it's new logo and dedicated website.
