This Sunday, 25th August 2024 marks Social Justice Sunday and the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Social Justice Statement entitled, “Truth and Peace: A Gospel Word in a Violent World ” is now available for download at Truth and Peace A Gospel Word in a Violent World FINAL 150824 02.pdf - Google Drive. 

This statement scrutinises the violence and conflict around our world, and asks “what is needed to bring peace?” I would be grateful for your support in endorsing the Bishop’s Statement by promoting the Statement throughout your Parishes, Schools, Religious Congregations, Chaplaincies, Ministries, Agencies and Diocesan Departments.
