Saturday November 2 - No morning Mass or Confession in St Francis Xavier's Cathedral due to the Christmas Pageant. Wakefield Street will be closed from 7am to 1pm. For safety, security and traffic related issues, all morning Masses and confessions in the Cathedral are cancelled. All Souls Day Masses will be celebrated in our churches: November 2 - St Patrick’s Church, Grote St: 8am; Smyth Chapel, West Terrace: 10am; St John Vianney, Burnside: 9am; St Peter Claver, Dulwich: 11am; St Francis Xavier Cathedral: Vigil 6pm. NB: Confessions and the Vigil Mass in the Cathedral will take place as usual on Saturday evening.

Saturday November 9, Mass 3pm in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral. The event will be held during the Adelaide Italian Festival week and will honour Italian immigrants and their contributions to the life and vitality in South Australia. In this Mass, we reflect on the significance of our Italian migrants with a focus on the 20th Century Patroness St Frances Xavier Cabrini – protector to all immigrants. Refreshments will be available to purchase after Mass. NB Italian religious associations are invited to participate with their banners and wear traditional dress.
